Maskwa is now offering an adaptive paddling program that offers on water activity to both youth and adults with physical impairment. This may include individuals with mobility impairments, amputations, Cerebral Palsy and CMT disease, among others.
The sport of paracanoe debuted at the 2016 Rio Paralympic games and since then has been gaining exposure. Maskwa Aquatic Club aims to introduce athletes to the sport of paddling at a recreational level. If desired, athletes may then be able to progress to a competitive level where they may be able to compete provincially, nationally and eventually, internationally.
When: 2019 dates to be determined.
Cost: $200.00 (covers coaching and equipment maintenance costs)
